Chesney Henry “Chet” Baker Jr. (Yale, 23 dicembre 1929 – Amsterdam, 13 maggio 1988) è stato un trombettista e cantante statunitense di musica jazz, noto per il suo stile lirico e intimista e per essere stato tra i principali esponenti del genere conosciuto come cool jazz.

Chesney HenryChetBaker, Jr. (December 23, 1929 – May 13, 1988) was an American jazz trumpeter, flugelhornist and vocalist.

Baker earned much attention and critical praise through the 1950s, particularly for albums featuring his vocals (Chet Baker Sings, It Could Happen to You). Jazz historian David Gelly described the promise of Baker’s early career as “James Dean, Sinatra, and Bix, rolled into one.” His “well-publicized drug habit” also drove his notoriety and fame; Baker was in and out of jail frequently before enjoying a career resurgence in the late 1970s and ’80s.

Franco Cerri (born January 29, 1926) is an Italian guitarist, born in Milan.

Franco Cerri is considered as “the best Italian guitarist” and “one of the best guitarist that European jazz has produced” and became popular in Italy thanks to his participation to the television show Buone Vacanze.He was not only one of the world’s most popular and the most authoritative Italian guitarists, but was also one of the most important stylists of the European jazz world.
